One of the many benefits of having an annual checkup is checking your blood sugar levels. This can identify any signs of pre-diabetes early and help you to be able to stop the progression from pre-diabetes to full diabetes.
If your doctor has identified that you are pre-diabetic, JHAH can help. The JHAH Tawazon Program works with people diagnosed with pre-diabetes to help them modify their lifestyle in order to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes and other health-related conditions.
Below one of our successful patients shares their experience of the Tawazon program.
A Personal Story from Dalal Harbi Al-Mahasheer
“As a result of the wonderful guidance I received in the Tawazon Diabetes Prevention Program, I was able to not only lose 30 kg, but even able to get my blood sugar back to within normal limits and take better control of my health,” said Dalal Harbi Al-Mahasheer.
“I would like to personally thank my lifestyle coach, Zainab Alfaraj, who used a methodology everyone in the program could easily understand and more importantly helped empower me and the others to take charge of our lives to make positive changes.”
Eligibility
The program is open to JHAH registered Saudi Aramco and JHAH employees and their eligible dependents who have a body mass index (BMI) of more than 25, have been diagnosed with prediabetes or are at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
