Abdullah is a highly experienced Occupational Therapy Specialist with more than 18 years of expertise in rehabilitation services.
Abdullah has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Degree from The University of Jordan – School of Rehabilitation Sciences and has completed numerous advanced professional development programs, including the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Improvement Science Professional Development Program (NGHA, Riyadh).
Abdullah holds certifications in Head-to-Toe School & Shure Shape Molded Seating Training (from Meyra-Orthopedic in Germany), Manual, Active, Powered and Pediatric Wheelchairs, and Seating and Positioning Wheelchair Systems.
During his career, Abdullah has held key roles in clinical education, program development, service improvement and has consistently demonstrated leadership in advancing the occupational therapy profession in Saudi Arabia. He is a founding member and former board member of the Saudi Arabia Occupational Therapy Association. Abdullah developed occupational therapy protocols for establishing stroke units at the King Abdullah Medical City.
Abdullah has a special interest in training, advanced seating and positioning systems, manual and powered wheelchairs, and assistive equipment.
