During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family. When he died, they felt compelled to say “thank you” to nurses in a very public way.

Throughout the year anyone may submit a nomination – including patients, family members, co-workers, physicians, staff – anyone who experiences or observes extraordinary compassionate care being provided by a nurse can thank them with a nomination for The DAISY Award.
