Smoking Cessation Program

What is the Smoking Cessation Program?

Giving up smoking is hard, and it can be difficult to stay smoke free. Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare's (JHAH) Smoking Cessation Program is run by a team of experts, to help you quit and stay on track. As well as boosting the health of smokers, our program helps to reduce the risks to fellow workers and the community at large.

As a healthcare leader, JHAH has a duty to protect employees, patients, and the public from passive smoke. We are also committed to implementing an evidence-based program to encourage tobacco users to quit.

Further information

Our Smoking Cessation Program aims to inspire and educate through a range of initiatives:

To be eligible to participate in the screening program research for this eye condition, you must be

  • Saudi Aramco or Johns Hopkins Aramco healthcare employee or dependent.
  • Be between the ages of 13 and 23 years.

Workplaces are an ideal setting to reach large groups of employees and encourage them to stop smoking.

The health effects of exposure to second-hand smoke are well known. Limiting this exposure and encouraging workforces to quit tobacco has been an effective business practice worldwide and reflects companies’ commitments towards their employees.

Through professional partnerships and community outreach, we hope to contribute to the reduction of Saudi Arabia’s disease rates and tobacco-induced financial and social burdens, as well as enhancing our population’s wellbeing.

Eligibility

The program is available to adult Saudi Aramco and JHAH employees and their eligible dependents.
