Dr. Hani Ayyad

Dr. Hani Ayyad joined Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare as Chief Nursing Officer in late 2021 after arriving from the UAE, where he held the position of a Group Chief Nursing Officer for multiple hospitals. Dr. Ayyad has over 25 years of healthcare experience and held several senior executive nursing positions for over a decade as Group Chief Nursing, Operating, and Clinical Officer for multiple hospitals and sites in UAE, Saudi Arabia as well as the United States. Additionally, Dr. Ayyad served as an Adjunct Nursing Faculty for multiple nursing colleges in the US.

Dr. Ayyad is recognized for strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams to achieve higher levels of excellence in Employee Engagement, Service Excellence, Quality, and patient safety, and to surpass operational goals through the empowerment of nurses, implementing shared governance models, and utilizing evidence-based practices.

He is also highly experienced in multiple accreditation bodies and standards including JCI, ACHSI, CBAHI, MOH, WHO baby-friendly hospital initiative, as well as local accreditation and other regulatory bodies in the US such as CMS, TJC, AHA, etc.

Dr. Ayyad holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biological Science and a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He also earned his Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
