Every prostate cancer case is different. Our specialized programs connect you with teams who understand your particular situation, whether it's genetic risk or advanced disease.

About 10 to 15% of prostate cancers run in families. If multiple relatives have had prostate cancer, if you were diagnosed before 55, or if your family has a history of breast, ovarian, or pancreatic cancer, you might benefit from genetic testing.

We offer genetic counseling and testing for BRCA1/2 and other cancer genes. If you have a mutation, we'll create a personalized screening plan and can test family members who might carry the same gene.

Why It Matters

BRCA mutations often mean more aggressive cancer at younger ages. But these cancers may respond well to specific treatments called PARP inhibitors. Knowing your genetic status also helps protect your family members through earlier screening.

Metastatic or castration-resistant prostate cancer needs a team approach. Our clinic brings together oncologists, urologists, radiation specialists, and palliative care doctors who work together on your case.

We help you figure out which treatments to try and when, connect you with clinical trials when appropriate, manage bone health and pain, and focus on keeping your quality of life as good as possible. We're also here to help with difficult conversations about what matters most to you.
