On September 29, 2019 JHAH was recognized by His Excellency Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Health, for fulfilling all required SCFHS accreditation standards with distinction and being awarded full Institutional Accreditation.
Institutional Accreditation by SCFHS aims at creating an ideal learning environment based on health education principles for both trainers and trainees by harnessing all educational and clinical resources at an institution into a postgraduate professional healthcare program. JHAH’s residency program applies cutting-edge teaching methods that include simulations and an immersion in an evidence-based care model within JHAH’s proactive, patient-centric Primary Care service.
Dr. Daniele Rigamonti, FACS, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are proud and honored to say that JHAH is the only private healthcare institution that received this prestigious recognition by SCFHS recognizing our quality and commitment in Postgraduate Medical Training.”
SCFHS has accredited 45 healthcare institutions in the Kingdom, including 293 Postgraduate Training Centers. Only 7 of the accredited institutions (16%) have been granted full Institutional Accreditation for four years.
