Care Anywhere is our range of services designed to improve access beyond traditional healthcare settings and provide a better experience, where healthcare is available where and when you need it.
In 2023, we expanded our telemedicine service to create 24/7 access to our primary care and pediatric primary care services.
We aim to continue to expand Care Anywhere to provide more and more patients with alternatives that enable them to access the Eastern Region's leading healthcare provider, in the comfort of home.
For many people, it can be difficult to see a healthcare provider in person due to work and family commitments. We have extended our existing telemedicine service to provide 24/7 access to primary care for both adults and pediatric primary care.
No need to travel, wait in traffic, or for parking, Care Anywhere (telephone and video) appointments provide access to healthcare at a time and place more convenient to fit into your busy life.
You can also be confident that with a 90% patient satisfaction rating, JHAH’s telephone and video services offer the same high-quality healthcare and support as JHAH’s exceptional in-person primary care service.
Patients can continue to book appointments in MyChart and schedule a telephone or video appointment with a doctor for themselves, or with a pediatric primary care expert for children anytime day or night. Appointments in MyChart are offered seven days a week, 24 hours per day.
Note that appointments for after-hours and weekends are available either the same day or the day before.
Registered patients also have access to more immediate help after hours with no appointment needed for both adults and importantly for pediatric primary care saving unnecessary worry or trips to the Emergency Department late at night.
Simply call 800-305-4444 between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., seven days a week and you can speak directly to a qualified primary care or pediatric primary care provider.
Care Anywhere 24/7 Access provides much of the same services as our in-person appointments in Primary Care.

The after-hours call service can also support making, changing, or canceling appointments.
Just like our previous telemedicine appointments, for some concerns, patients will need an in-person clinic appointment such as referral to any other specialty services and initiating new medications for chronic conditions.
For these concerns, you can easily book an in-person appointment in MyChart. With extended clinic hours in all Primary Care clinics, from 7 am – 7 pm, there are more appointments available to ensure you are seen sooner.

Besides the safety offered by online consultations, there are other benefits — not needing to travel, wait in waiting rooms, and the convenience and simplicity of what feels like a Face-Time session
