Pediatric Primary Care

What is Pediatric Primary Care?

If you have children, a Primary Care Clinic with dedicated child-friendly experts, facilities and services is vital for your family’s continuing health and wellbeing. All of our clinics at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) have been designed with families in mind.

Our doctors and nurses are specially trained to care for sick children, and we have a range of amenities to make your visit as comfortable as possible. We offer primary healthcare pediatric services for all children up to age 12, including referrals to pediatric specialty clinics and pediatric surgery if needed.

Pediatric Primary Care treatments, services and procedures

All of our Primary Care Clinics offer vaccinations to help protect your children from illnesses – everything from flu to tetanus. In some cases, children can receive their vaccination in a dedicated children’s immunization room – please refer to your local clinic for availability.

Vaccination Schedule

Many children have hearing or sight disorders, and the good news is that the vast majority of these are treatable. Early diagnosis is essential to optimize your child’s quality of life and performance at school, and we encourage regular testing. Find out more about early hearing and vision intervention.

With recent heightened awareness, parents are more likely to raise a concern about autism. Our Pediatric Primary Care Clinics can provide assessments and diagnosis to help your child (aged between 18-24 months) get the best possible care and treatment.

As a JHAH patient, you can register your child for the Pediatrics and Dental Departments’ Star Clinic. It is available every Wednesday for children aged two years and under.

Our Pediatric Primary Care services

Food and drink

Children can get hungry or thirsty while waiting for an appointment, which is why we provide refreshment options at each of our clinics. We also ensure that the snacks on offer have a nutritional value, so you can feel confident that your children are eating healthily.

Play areas

At some of our Primary Care Clinics, we have installed designated recreational areas where children can play safely and happily while they wait for their – or your – appointment. Seating areas enable you to keep an eye on children as they play.

Well Child visits

We encourage you to bring in your youngsters for regular Well Child visits. These enable our doctors or nurses to monitor their health as they grow, ensuring they receive the best possible care and advice at every stage of their development.

Our patients say it best

The JHAH staff were friendly and helpful during my baby’s immunization, which has already brought peace to our minds. Thank you.
